KARIS KIDS

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 19:14

Jesus knew the value of children. In Karis Church, we want to follow Christ’s example and support families in teaching children about the gospel. Through God-centered, gospel-focused instruction with fun methods, we teach kids about who Jesus is and what he has done. Our aim is to be intentional in helping children grow up knowing that Jesus is at the center of every Bible story.

During Sunday Gatherings, Karis provides care for children six months through 5th grade in age-appropriate classrooms (children above the age of 11 are welcome to join the Karis Youth program). Parents can check-in their children at the Karis Kids desk in the foyer on Sunday mornings. Children 2 and under can be dropped off at check-in, while older children remain with their families during the music at the beginning of our Gathering until dismissed.

Karis Kids utilizes The Gospel Project for Kids in our classrooms. This program gives your children a big vision of God and consistent exposure to His gospel. Kids will also enjoy age-appropriate activities and crafts and a snack. Food allergies can be recorded at check-in, and children are welcome to bring their own allergen-free snacks if needed.

We take every precaution to ensure your child is in an environment that is safe, clean, and engaging.  All Karis Kids volunteers are thoroughly screened and trained prior to serving. Additionally, two adult volunteers remain in each classroom at all times.

Volunteers are an integral part of Karis Kids, and God is blessing our children's ministry in huge ways as children are being added to our body every month. We are always looking for caring people to serve our children. If you’d like to volunteer with Karis Kids, visit our Serve page to apply!
