Brazil Spring Break 2017: Partnership

In just over a month, Karis Church will send 14 people to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, for 10 days. 2017 is Karis’s 8th year of partnership with an Acts29 organization in Rio called Restore Brazil.

One of Karis’s three guiding principles is community. God’s gospel community knows no bounds; it loves and learns past physical and cultural differences. It empowers Karis Church to partner within our city, with our missionaries and with Restore Brazil to further the name of Christ and the story of His sacrifice.

I have always been a bit impatient and constantly waiting for the “next thing”. When I was twelve years old, I couldn’t wait to be a teenager. Then I couldn’t wait to be sixteen, to get my license, graduate high school and go to college. Marriage, a job, and kids all followed on my list. My mother would often tell me, “Sister Sue, stop wishing your life away, be patient and content with where you are!”
