If you’re new to Karis Church, we are so glad you’re here! We would love for you to get connected with our church family, and the following are next steps you can take to get involved (though not necessarily in any particular order!). GATHER WITH US THIS SUNDAY
On Sunday mornings we gather as the people of God, after being scattered throughout our city on mission and having worshipped throughout the week, to praise our Father together and to receive encouragement in that mission. We come on Sundays to receive from the great Giver through the word, song, communion, and fellowship among believers. Sundays are the perfect time to visit and meet our church family! DOWNLOAD THE CHURCH CENTER APP
The Church Center app is the primary way to engage digitally with the life our church. While participating in Sunday Gatherings and Missional Communities throughout the week, you can use the app to explore, learn, and get involved by registering for events, joining groups, finding helpful resources, and more! You’ll hear us mention the app frequently, so download it on your device today!
FILL OUT A CONNECTING CARD
We want to get to know you, and filling out a Connecting Card helps us do that! You can find a Connecting Card any Sunday morning in the back of the pews that can be dropped off at the Welcome Center. Once we receive your card, we’ll be sure to reach out to see how we can help you connect with the life of our church. Plus, we’ll add you to our weekly e-mail newsletter, the Karis Loop, so you can stay up to date. (Don’t worry - your information is secure and we won’t fill your inbox with spam!)
JOIN A MISSIONAL COMMUNITY
If there’s one place to get deeply connected within our church, it’s in Missional Communities. MCs are where we build family-like relationships with each other as we meet regularly in our homes and entwine ourselves around living gospel-centered lives together. You can visit several of these smaller groups before choosing one to settle into, and you can find all the details on our Missional Communities page.
ATTEND KARIS INTRO
Karis Intro is the primary starting point to getting more deeply involved with Karis. Held once a month after a Sunday Gathering, Karis Intro is open to anyone who would like to learn more about the vision of our church, how to get connected, and how you can join the family as a member. You’ll have the chance to meet a pastor, ask any questions you may have, and enjoy free lunch together! You can register for our next Karis Intro on our Events page or on the Church Center App.
BECOME A MEMBER
We are passionate about church membership because we believe the best way you can experience Biblical community is by living as a committed member of a church family.
