Worship at our Good Friday Gatherings

During our Good Friday Gatherings, we will meditate on God sacrificing his son, Jesus, to save us from our sins. Jesus exhausted the wrath of God that was justly ours in dying on the cross for us. He paid the penalty of death that was ours to pay. On Good Friday, we pause under the weight of this, before joyfully celebrating His resurrection on Easter Sunday.

We have two nearly identical Gatherings planned:

The first, at 6:00 p.m., will be held at 606 Ridgeway, in the more traditional setting of the Auditorium at Calvary Baptist Church. Karis Kids will have childcare available for children 6 months - 2 years old for this early Gathering.

The second, at 8:00 p.m., will be in the soon-to-open Imago Gallery and Cultural Center at 1020 East Broadway. This smaller space is still being renovated, so be mindful, particularly if you have smaller children, that there may be construction materials around. There is no childcare provided during the 8:00 p.m. Gathering.

Both Gatherings will include music, meditative readings of Scripture, and an opportunity to take the Lord's Supper together.

We hope you will join us for this solemn, reflective time of worship, this Good Friday, April 18.
