Introducing the Imago Center
We announced at our bi-annual members’ meeting yesterday that we have leased the former Dreamcatcher spot at Hitt and Broadway downtown with plans to launch the Imago Center for Arts and Culture this spring. Our vision is for the Imago Center to be a key part of our downtown arts and culture scene. Art shows will be held there. Meaningful lectures will be hosted there. We couldn’t be more excited. Actually there is more. We have entered into a partnership with the True/False Film Festival beginning this month. The festival’s box office will be held there. We are excited and honored to partner with such a key event in our city.
We, however, need your help. We are beginning a campaign to raise $25,000 to remodel the facility. This is at the same time we’re also seeking to raise the same amount to upgrade our sound equipment and storage systems for our new Sunday location. Could you contribute to what we believe will be an important part of our city’s culture? You can visit our new Legacy site and give here.
