As a church, the cross takes central focus all year long, but at Easter we take extra time to meditate on the suffering of Jesus and his resurrection from the dead. This year we joined together as a church to observe Lent as a way to prepare our hearts for Easter.

Good Friday Gathering

Spend time in worship, reflecting on the Man of Sorrows, as we remember how Jesus bore the weight of our sins in his death on the cross.

Easter Gathering and Baptism

Sunday, March 31, 2013, 11ish a.m.

Celebrate: Sing about the resurrection of Jesus, hear the word preached, and rejoice in our changed lives because of the gift of grace offered to us all.

Give: There will also be a special Easter offering for the Brazil and Japan mission teams that Karis is sending out this spring. You can also give online and choose the Brazil Mission Fund or the Karis Japan Fund.

Feast: After the Easter Gathering, we will meet together in homes throughout the city for a celebration lunch. For some, this will be the breaking of their Lenten fast, but all are welcome.
