Men's Retreat

The Karis Men's Retreat will be this Friday and Saturday, February 22-23. The main focus of this retreat is time to relax, but there will be times of teaching as well. The retreat will take place at Camp Cedar Crest. The guys will caravan out together from the Calvary parking lot at 6 p.m. on Friday and return Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Friday night will include a grilled dinner (bring your own meat), music, prayer, and teaching on the discipline of a praying life. Saturday morning will include breakfast, music, prayer and teaching on the discipline of fasting. The remainder of the day is open for games, relaxing, hiking, etc.

Camp Cedar Crest is located at 11002 RT ZZ, in Monroe County, Missouri, approximately 15 miles north of Mexico. It is situated on 100+ acres of rolling woodland and grassland. There are several trails to explore and a lake for fishing. All buildings are air conditioned.

Individual cost: $12/person, which covers lodging, breakfast, lunch, and part of dinner.

Items to bring: Bring your own meat (large cooler to be provided) to grill Friday night, bedding, and towels

Who is invited: All men in Karis and their friends ages 13 and up.
