Game Review: Stone Age

My wife's new favorite game is Stone Age. If you're looking for a last minute Christmas gift, check it out. It's for 2-4 players, and it's what's called a worker placement game. You're the chieftain of a paleo-village, trying to compete against others to build the best civilization. Each round has three stages: you send out your workers, fighting off your opponents for prime spots on the board, those workers then work for you, earning you resources with which you can acquire goods, and you feed your workers, trying not to forget that essential task along the way. My 9 year-old likes the game and has beaten me several times, but adults enjoy it quite a bit, as well. If you're looking for some good fun and laughs with your friends or family, check it out.
