Karis Distinctives: Word-Driven

A commitment to God’s word seen in the careful exposition of scripture Karis believes God creates and grows his church through his word, the Bible. Therefore, expositional preaching, which makes the point of the passage the point of the sermon, will be practiced and modeled. This will bring people and programs under the authority of scripture. Karis will then be word-driven and not results-driven. We long to teach and live out what God has taught us in his Scriptures.
