07.02.08 Chase Update II

Just got back from University Hospital.  The nurse said that around 8 p.m., she was talking to another nurse in his room, and she looked over at Chase, and he had both eyes open, looking like he was listening in!  She was really excited.  She then grasped his hand and said, "Are you feeling pain?  If so, squeeze."  He squeezed, so she gave him some pain meds.  But this is a great sign.
