Whitlock on the Imus Controversy

Imus is a joke, and the comments he made were deplorable. However, Jason Whitlock, a sports writer in Kansas City, who I normally can't stand (only because he bashes my teams), gives some helpful comments on the whole situation from an African-American perspective. As Christians we must stand against Imus and Imus-isms, but we must also encourage our African-American brothers and sisters to rise above a "victim" mentality and resist some negative aspects of culture.
