Come help the kids prep for the year ahead at a back-to-school bash!

Dream Tree Academy is partnering with Heart of Missouri CASA and Karis for a Back-to-School Bookbag Giveaway hosted at Ridgeway! On August 19th from 11am-1pm, families can come collect free school supplies needed for their kids, as well as enjoy free lunch, snow cones, a bounce house and games! If your family would like to attend and collect new school supplies for the year, just show up to the event at 11am at 606 Ridgeway!

We hope the Karis family will join us in hosting this event for those in our community. There are two ways you can get involved:

School Supply Drive
Please bring any new school supplies from the list below to a Sunday Gathering and leave them in the donation bin in the foyer. All donations must be dropped off by Sunday, August 13th in order to distribute them at the event! Your donations will help give local kids the resources they need to learn and grow in classrooms this year.

Backpack, Lunchbox, Water Bottle, No. 2 Pencils, Pencil Sharpeners, Crayons, Markers, Colored Pencils, Black/Blue Ink Pens, Pink Erasers, Pencil Box/Case, Rulers, Glue Sticks, School Glue, Kids Scissors, Tissue Boxes, Hand Sanitizer, Plastic Folders (with brads), Wide-Ruled Spiral Notebooks, Composition Notebooks, Loose Leaf Paper Packages, Index Cards (3x5)

Volunteering
Karis volunteers are leading the fun at this year's event! Sign up for one of the shifts or the full day by clicking "register." Karis volunteers will help us organize games and a bounce house for kids in our community. First shift will help set up and get the games started. Second shift will continue the games during the event and clean up afterwards.
