ForColumbia was founded with a simple mission: to bring Christians together to share God’s love by serving our community, side by side. They do this by organizing volunteers annually from Christian churches throughout Columbia to serve individuals, non-profit organizations and other public venues in a city-wide day of service. You can join us on April 27th by signing up to volunteer. Signing up early helps us make plans to help more people. A diverse range of volunteer opportunities are available including gardening, painting, trash cleanup, home and building repair, and more! If you'd like your kids to serve alongside you, there will be several serving options that are kid-friendly and you can request this on your application. You can also sign up as a group, so talk to your MC about serving together!*

*ForColumbia will assign you a serving site based on your stated skills, preferences, and availability, so please follow the instructions carefully when signing up to volunteer. If you'd like to serve with a specific group of people (like your MC), then be sure to enter a unique group name when asked (and they will assign the location for you all to serve at together). However, the goal is to have two or more churches represented at each serving site.
