TRAVEL THE TRICK-OR-TREAT TRAIL WITH US THIS HALLOWEEN!
Come on out for this third annual neighborhood event in the First Ward - it’s a fun, free, and safe way to enjoy the season together!
On October 31st from 5:30-7:30 PM, come travel the Trick-or-Treat Trail through Ridgeway and surrounding neighborhoods! All families are invited to come trick-or-treat in the area and visit all of our special pit stops along the way. Follow the map to every pit stop to find candy and fun fall activities! The official trail map will be released the week before the event with pit stop locations and activities.
WHO: All families are invited to this neighborhood event, especially those who live in the Ridgeway area and the First Ward!
WHAT: Pit stops all throughout the neighborhood to visit and stop at while you trick-or-treat door-to-door at the neighbors’ houses. Every stop will have candy and another fun fall activity!
WHEN: Halloween Night: October 31st from 5:30-7:30 PM (or until the candy runs out!).
WHERE: Central Columbia neighborhoods. The Trail Headquarters will be located at 606 Ridgeway Ave (Karis Church) with printed maps available to take with you. Most of the pit stops are in your neighbors’ front yards, while others are at Worley Street Park and other public venues. You can visit one or all and go in any order you like!
IMPORTANT INFO:
Parking: The trail is designed to be walked while you trick-or-treat at houses around the neighborhood. Help us reduce car traffic in the neighborhood and keep families safe by walking between pit stops! If you are coming from outside the neighborhood, you are welcome to park within one of the parking lots at Karis Church in the marked parking spaces until spots are full. For accessibility purposes, you are welcome to drive between pit stops. There will be no other activities hosted at the church building.
Trash: Please help keep our neighborhood clean by disposing of all waste in the trash cans provided at each pit stop!
Host Information: All pit stops are hosted by multiple Karis Church volunteers in either a public venue or a front yard of a Karis volunteer. Each official pit stop will be clearly marked and labeled on the map. All families are responsible for their own children and no child care will be provided by Karis or volunteers. We are committed to being in the city and for the city, so we can't wait to celebrate and connect with you!
