Come lunch & learn with CASA!

Every year there are more than 650 children in the Boone and Callaway County foster care system. Children often move from home to home and caseworkers change throughout their time in care. It’s a time of uncertainty and constant change. They need a caring adult in their corner who will consistently be there for them and advocate for their needs. CASA volunteers make sure a child’s best interest doesn’t fall through the cracks of our overburdened system.

Want to learn more about how you can support children in the foster care system and volunteer with CASA? Join us after our Sunday Gathering on October 16th in the Chapel for a free informational luncheon to learn more. Kids are welcome to attend alongside their parents, but no childcare will be provided. Please register so we can ensure there is plenty of food for everyone!
