An Important Notice Regarding this Sunday's Gathering

Karis Church family,  

Our staff recently discovered an issue with the air conditioning in the main auditorium at our Karis Westside building. While repair of the unit has been scheduled, our technician cannot repair the unit before Sunday morning. In light of this issue, we anticipate the building will be warmer than usual this weekend. 

We have taken a couple of measures to ensure that everyone is as comfortable as possible on Sunday. First, to take advantage of the cooler temperature in the morning, we will only have one Gathering on June 10th at 9:00am. We will have fans and bottled water in the auditorium during this abbreviated Gathering.   

Karis Kids will be largely be unaffected by the this issue, as all of our classrooms have individual window units to provide air conditioning. However, we encourage you and your children to wear light, loose clothing to the Gathering on Sunday to provide additional comfort.  

Also, a note for all volunteers originally scheduled to serve at the 11am Gathering: if you plan to attend the 9am Gathering this Sunday, we encourage you to check-in with your team leader or Gathering Director to ensure we have adequate coverage on all serving teams.  

We appreciate your patience with this and plan to return to normal Sunday hours next weekend when our AC is fixed.
