Coming Together Again: The Lord's Supper
Throughout the pandemic, we have utilized pre-packaged communion cups that include individual servings of juice and a wafer that you can stop by and pick up in the foyer as you come in. Beginning Sunday, March 6, we will take a step towards returning to our pre-pandemic process for taking the Lord’s Supper together.
Towards the end of the Gathering, if you are a baptized believer who would like to participate in the Lord’s Supper, you will be invited to come to the front of the auditorium to take the bread and the cup. The bread will be pre-torn and the drink pre-poured as we continue to practice caution toward the health of others.
We’ll give instructions each week for taking the Lord’s Supper together towards the end of the Gathering. For those who are not yet comfortable with the change, the pre-packaged communion cups will continue to be provided for you to use at your seat.
We look forward to taking the next step towards post-pandemic church life together!
