Book Drive!
Do you have books your children have outgrown that need a new home? Bagby Helping Hands, a local organization that assists low income families with direct needs, is collecting children's books to deliver to families with limited books in their home, and Karis is hosting a drop-off location!
During the pandemic, a need was identified for children’s books for low-income families across Columbia. On July 18th and July 25th, you can donate new or used children’s books in the foyer (across from the welcome center) at 606 Ridgeway Ave during our Sunday Gathering. Books will be distributed through Bagby Helping Hands, as well as through Summer reading programs with the help of the Columbia Housing Authority.
If you have any unused children’s books in your home or can purchase new ones for those in need, be sure to bring them with you on one of the Sundays we are collecting or contact Brooke Danielsen to make arrangements for pick-up. Thanks for your contribution to loving the families in our city!
