Gather With us on Sunday Evenings!

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Beginning Sunday, September 27th, we will continue gathering on the front lawn at a new time of 11:00 AM.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be Regathering on Sunday evenings!

We’ll be coming together on the front lawn of our Ridgeway location. Starting with an outside Gathering will allow more of our family to join us, while also ensuring we can do all the important things we want to do safely and responsibly - like singing. We’ve chosen an evening start time mainly to love and serve our neighbors well. It’ll also provide for more shade in the yard. Although it may require some of us to adjust our evening schedules, it’s our hope you’ll make it a priority for you and your family.

No Karis Kids activities will be provided. Therefore, these initial gatherings will be family-friendly with a shorter message. While we want you to catch up with Karis family that you’ve missed, we’ll need to maintain social distancing at all times.

For those of you who won’t feel comfortable coming back just yet, we’ll continue livestreaming. In the event of rain, we’ll livestream from inside, allowing everyone to catch the Gathering from home. Check karischurch.org after 4 p.m. on Sundays when the weather seems questionable.

At this point, we’re not certain how long we’ll gather in this way. However, although it might be warm, the summer provides a natural opportunity for us to responsibly come together outside for corporate worship.

Pastor Rob has put together a helpful Gathering “how to” here. Please read it thoroughly before coming. We’ll also have some serving needs. Please go to this link and sign-up.

Per the recent city ordinance (7/7/20), masks are now required when not in your seating area.

One last, important detail: if you are displaying any COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, headache, sore throat, fatigue, shortness of breath, loss of taste or smell, nausea or diarrhea, etc.), please catch the livestream and avoid our in-person Gathering. Also, we strongly encourage the elderly or those at high-risk to also choose the safe option and remain live-streaming for now.

This time apart has been long and hard. Please make plans to join us. Please help us spread the word!
