Beginning This Week in Karis: The Psalms

Over the past couple of years, many of us in Karis Church have seen the value of regularly utilizing the Psalms. We’ve used them in private, daily worship (pick up a Field Guide if you haven’t!). We’ve used them more and more in our corporate worship on Sundays. The Lord has given us a prayer book, really a hymn book. it’s full of songs with lyrics that fit all of the ups and downs of life. There are “Songs for All Seasons.” And they all point to the hope found only in Jesus Christ.

We’re starting a new rhythm this Sunday in Karis. As we hope you’ll use the Psalms on a regular basis privately, we want to do the same thing even more corporately. We may not always hit this goal. But our desire for the years ahead is that we’d monthly preach through a Psalm in our Karis weekly worship Gatherings. Pastor Aarik Danielsen will kick off this series this Sunday.
