Heading Out
I'm here in LAX waiting to hop on a plane for Narita airport near Tokyo. Josh and Laura Rice and Dan and Lori Glosson are with me. We will meet Drew and Megumi Glosson, who are already there on the ground, in Tokyo today. We will also be meeting up today with two friends from Journey the Way Church in Wichita - Jeremy Writebol and Sarah (whose last name I've not learned yet). Ron Boyle from Wichita will also be joining us later.
When we arrive, we will be greeted by our favorite Aussie missionary to Japan, John Evans. We spent all our time last year with him - before he and his family moved to Chiba City, Japan. We love and appreciate him much. When he greets us now, he'll take us back to his place for some Australian BBQ with his family. I'm hoping no dingo is on the menu, John. :). When we arrive there, it will be around 4 pm, yet it will be 2 am back in Missouri. Pray that we can adapt quickly. However, I learned last year, that the difficulty comes on the return home.
I can't wait to get there. I'm excited to report it all to you. I love you, Karis Church family, as well as other friends following our trip. Pray. Blessings!
