Women's Conference: Friendship for the Glory of God

Registration is still open for the Women's Conference on April 27!

We all desire friendship. What does the Bible say about it? What stories and directives does it give? Many of us can recount how Jesus has been a friend to us, but what does it mean for us to be a friend to Him and to share that friendship with others? Jesus says He doesn’t see you as a “servant” but as a “friend.”

Join us on Saturday, April 27, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., as we search the scriptures and discover more about the heart of the Lord for friendship.

The Karis Women’s Conference will be held at 606 Ridgeway Ave in the Calvary Baptist Church building. Erin Burmeister is our guest speaker. Erin and Ethan, her husband of 17 years, have worked with Acts 29 churches in Omaha, Nebraska for the past 13 years. They have four children, Christian (14), Israel (13), Anna (8), and Sam (6), and two babies waiting in Heaven. Erin has managed coffee shops, been a real estate agent, worked in interior design and decorating, and homeschooled their children (not all at the same time). She loves being a wife and mother. She also helps with counseling within the church and participates on the worship team.

The cost for the conference is $12 per person, which includes lunch on Saturday.

There is an optional pre-conference meet and greet, including dinner, on Friday night, April 26, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. This event is ideal for out of town guests. The total cost for the meet and greet and conference is $20 per person. Seating is limited for the meet and greet event.

Register here for the conference.
