Some news about former Mizzou athletes having pro success:
- Demarre Carroll is bringing his lunch box to the Jazz.
- Gruden called Aldon Smith the best pass rusher he had ever seen on MNF the other night. From their Facebook page, from Gruden's mouth: “Look for the 49ers to rev up the pass rush tonight. They haven’t had a guy like Aldon Smith since Charles Haley. He’s that good.” The dude is unblockable.
- Kimmie English apparently played great in his pro debut for the Pistons.
I got to see the basketball Tigers in their exhibition debut this past Monday. They look very talented and very deep. I got to see this live:
The football Tigers play in the swamp this Saturday morning. I may be crazy, but I'm feeling an upset for this one.
I'm quickly becoming a Houston Rockets fan. Let's hope Jeremy Lin and James Harden have a great season!
