Here's a look at what I found interesting in the world of sports this past week:

• Great for Mizzou football to finally get an SEC win. There was so much promise at that Georgia kickoff, but a few major injuries and several losses later, beating Kentucky is a big deal.
• Glad that basketball is finally starting tomorrow night. The Larson family is heading to the Tigers' first exhibition game against Northwest Missouri State. Mizzou hoops has four guys on this list. Flip was named the preseason POY in the SEC. Our basketball recruiting class is moving up the rankings.
• Have you considered that there might be sports in heaven? If John Piper thinks so, it must be true.
• Did you read about the basketball clinic held by our MC? We're doing another one on December 2nd. Spread the word!
• Speaking of basketball skills, maybe we ought to teach our kids how to shoot the rock.
